Command An Army Update 6 — Halloween Event, Zombie Mode & Roman Battle Pass
Update 6 in Command An Army is the Halloween drop: a Zombie game mode with an Extreme variant, the Souls event currency, and a Roman Battle Pass with new units like the Legionnaire — plus the HALLOWEEN and ROME codes.

Two new codes shipped with it (HALLOWEEN, ROME). Eight creator walkthroughs in the first 24 hours cover the same feature set. Community report · 2026-11-01

The Zombie Game Mode
The headline feature is a wave-based zombie defense mode: your army holds the line against escalating waves of the undead. Day-one guides already cover solo strategies ("how to easily solo Zombie Mode"), and a harder Extreme variant is live for players who want the real test. Wall units shine here by design — the same Phalangite and Imperial Guard stacks that run ranked defense translate directly to holding against zombie waves. Community report · 2026-11-01
Mode rewards feed the Halloween event track, paid in the new Souls currency — a separate wallet from gems and skill crystals.
Halloween Event and Souls
The event layer wraps the Zombie mode: play, earn Souls, spend them on the event's rewards — including a legendary event unit that event coverage is calling the highlight of the drop. The event is time-boxed for the Halloween window; the exact end date has not been announced, so treat early November as the farming window. Community report · 2026-11-01
Roman Battle Pass — Legionnaire and the Roman Wave
The Mongols Battle Pass closed on October 31 and the Roman Battle Pass took its place: a new season of quest-track rewards with Roman-themed units. The named face is the Legionnaire — launch coverage tested it on camera — and coverage describes multiple new Roman units as "OP", with worth-it debates already running for the rest of the lineup. The Khorchin and Bataar paths from the Mongols pass are gone with it; their long-term acquisition is unverified. Community report · 2026-11-01
Full unit details (stats, star ratings, unlock tiers) land here and in the units database as they are read on screen — the Roman wave is days old and the numbers are still being farmed.
Best Units for Zombie Mode — Early Reads
Zombies arrive as tight, repeating waves, and the day-one consensus is that the ranked defense stack ports straight over: Community report · 2026-11-01
- Walls are the backbone. A held Phalangite or Imperial Guard line never has to chase — exactly what a wave defense wants, and why the solo guides pair one wall with ranged behind it.
- Splash scales with crowd size. The Laestrygonian hits four units with splash per swing — against waves that clump, that is the highest value-per-swing in the roster.
- Shields matter less here. Zombies do not carry shields, so dedicated shield-breakers (the Morningstar line) lose their main job in this mode — bring them for PvP, not for the grind.
The Two New Codes
HALLOWEEN— 2,500 gems + 50 Souls (the event currency, exactly what the Zombie grind wants).ROME— 3,000 gems.
Both reported consistently by multiple code trackers on October 31 — media-reported until they are typed on camera. The full live list (ten codes) is on the codes tracker. Inferred · 2026-11-01
What This Means for Your Account
- Farm Souls now, not later. Event currencies do not return — the Halloween window is the only window, and the legendary unit is the prize.
- Wall units double-dip. Your ranked defense stack is also your Zombie Mode roster — no new investment needed to start farming.
- The Roman pass is a two-week job. Battle pass seasons run on quest tracks; starting the grind in week one is the difference between finishing it and buying tiers.
- Redeem
HALLOWEENandROMEbefore they die — the Update 5 codes pattern says launch-window strings expire first. Full list on the codes tracker.
